Tsumihoroboshi - HD Original Sprites

I made this patch to upgrade the original sprites for HD versions. Hope you like it.

I did the same for all episodes, here they are.
Ch1 - Onikakushi
Ch2 - Watanagashi
Ch3 - Tatarigoroshi
Ch4 - Himatsubushi
Ch5 - Meakashi
Ch6 - Tsumihoroboshi
Ch7 - Minagoroshi

This patch is compatible with "Voices only patch".

The original sprites are in the "CG" directory. The PS3 mod puts its sprites in "CGAlt", right? As long as this mod puts them in "CG" and doesn't change any scripts—both of which appear to be the case—it's fine.

Yes, this patch goes to the "CG" folder, the Steam sprites are in the "CGAlt" folder. This patch only replaces old images with new ones. I do not know if the PS3 patch is installed in the "CG" folder I'll check.

Pretty sure the PS3 patch actually installs to CG, not CGAlt

I had a play around with it so that I could better understand the programs I'm linking people to, and the game was offering me the ability to toggle between MangaGamer and Alchemist Sprites, not Alchemist and Ryukishi

Oh well. I'll just put a note next to the link to your patch, that it has to be installed after the PS3 mod.

I just checked, the "ps3 patch" modifies the game folders, even if you install them, it will not work and will not replace anything.

but this patch works with the "voices only patch".

As a matter of interest, do the sprites really differ that much between the different chapters?
Would it be possible to lump the Himatsubushi and Meakashi sprites in with the others and have one patch that caters to all chapters?

I separated it correctly so as not to leave unusable sprites in the folder. But I think you can make a package, but you would have to separate a patch only for chapters 1-4 and another only for 5-8. Since the sprites change names between the question and answer arcs.

Any naming conflicts between 1-3 and 4?

Between 1 and 4, they all use the same names in the sprites, so they would have no naming conflicts.

I guess you are working or planning to make patches for Tsumihoroboshi, do you have any idea when you'll be done ? To know if I restrain myself from reading it a bit longer or not.

Ooh, thanks for this. I like using the original sprites, but the original ones provided don't look too great in fullscreen on larger displays.
