The story wasn't hard to complete (even though there's people who can't do anything by themselves) but it's been in steam for two only months and a week, they already started adding a new chapter, albeit it's only the dog, it shows it's not stagnant.
Seriously, people nowadays NEED new entertainment every 3 seconds or they get bored
As a side note, the Dog looks really underwhelming in the videos because it just attacks for single target physical dmg. No heals, Shielding, CCs, Vamplink, Wet, Flammable, Elemental dmg or AoEs. Unless there are different ways to build the dog to support builds, this dog may very well be the most disappointing addon to the game due to it being a low DPS increase for a high amount of effort to get him.
Sets that are easier to get have lower powers. Sets that are sold straight out completely all together from the NPC also have lower powers, because you can just buy the full set right out rather than gather them up piece by piece.
Also since we use a lot of sets just for their looks in our vanity slot, they don't always need to be better than the last one released. They just need to look interesting.
I understand wanting them to be useful and equal in terms of power, and yet if they're "only" equal that wouldn't mean we'd need to get them and switch to them, so I assume you're thinking of making them better? Which I don't think would be a very good idea. Better sets should be far in between and far off. Realistically not until we get more and harder areas to find them in right now.
They can't just make every new armor set stronger, that would be sort of a pain in the butt. That would mean every person would continually need to get the new armor sets rather than stick with one they're happy with, also continually creeping the power up and making us considerably overpowered as well.
Not to mention the endless whinning about the game being p2w because they sell stronger sets every time, there was enough already just by making them upgradeable with rep and fraises, as if they weren't captable to ever get enough rep to do so
Raider has the highest dmg potential atm if you know what to build it for. Reaper doesn't stand a chance with the crit nerf a few patches ago.
