We can't use it for now, it probably means that they're still working on it
You are unable to see the bikes in those pictures, but you are able to tell yourself ingame where you are and how you have to run to reach them when you know where some of them are

Of course, you can find maps made by the community on the wikia.
Moreover, the developers have added a few days ago, some bikes at the maps' depths.
I mean People switch tabs just to check the maps on wiki.
Yes its not an issue for someone rather experienced player that knows all the maps or the one that is using wiki. But it makes the start of this game for new players a really painful. I have dozens of paper resource so why i cant craft or draw the map?
This is the questions for gamedesigner. Map is requested by experienced players too just because this game lack a LOT of things to be friendly towards players. The biggest issue atm is interface and absence of hotkeys and some regular managing things like direct destroing materials from material storage.
Uncomfortable things will push new players away from this game. And the most uncomfortable is the fear to get lost when you already dont have food/water/rest points.
i think that true that a real survival game really depend on map to find way and not blindly go in and out of place while we need to spend long way to find a transport back camp to deposit items.
