Thanks I'll give it a try as I found the vanilla game a bit boring.
All I can offer are guesses, sadly.
A quick summary of the four options, to see if you're missing anything important:
- Building stress settings (default/realistic is what I recommend, alternatives are weaker, stronger, dramatic/extremely weak yet slow and diamond/extremely strong)
- Alert level decay (default hit-and-run, alternative is very slow decay meaning almost constant combat)
- Insane unlock workaround (default Hard is Hard, alternative Hard is Insane - you only need this if you want the most punishing experience and haven't yet unlocked Insane mode by completing the story)
- Squad member count (default is off. Alternatively adds a few friendlies who follow you around, but also bugs House Arrest activities)

Personally I play with everything on default, though I do have Insane mode already. That being said, Hard mode is tough as well, it just allows you to take minor risks without instant death. Still plenty of hiding and fleeing involved.
Do let me know if you can't get it to work and want to play with alternative settings, as I can make a custom version with whatever settings you like.
This is what I see: https://imgur.com/a/LxZnT5F
Also I think this is stated in the info I read but have the demolition master times been altered to account for the gas canisters not dealing as much structural damage? I'm having a tough time with the very first one lol.
Yeah, but the pro time is also intentionally difficult. Here's the pro solution, spoiler alert: You've got to throw each barrel into the building, to be most efficient, then place them about one pace apart either by picking them up first or nudging. Then simply detonate with the pistol. You've got three shots, so if a piece of wall keeps the building standing you can still grab a barrel and destroy it, though you won't get the pro time then.
And if you're feeling like a cheaty solution, grab the Tremor and just shake the damn thing apart. ^^
In my opinion the Community Pack is definitely worth installing on a first playthrough, though the number of activities doesn't change in it (only their difficulty).
Also note that you'll get way more activities past the first area (Parker). In later areas you'll need to destroy plenty of buildings before liberating the area and moving on to the next, so there's no lack of opportunity for blowing things up. :)
Absolutly loved every second of it!
Either way, I'll have a look soon, perhaps I can fix it by making the truck steer faster. For now a quick restart of the mission should solve it (and most other pathing screwups - unmodded I had to run one of Jenkins' missions 3-4 times).
I'm glad - same here. It's quite thrilling. And I must admit I've exploited the shoulder cam often...
As for windows crashing, that may be caused by various unrelated problems whether software (virus, malware, a particularly old and cluttered Windows install) or hardware (overheating, molten transistors, excessive overclocking, electricity spikes - the list goes on).
If the solution was to delete the game folder and a file randomly went missing it's very likely a harddisk issue. It takes a technician to make sure this was the actual solution, however, as the vast majority of problems resolve themselves after a restart, some over time (BIOS battery emptying itself, memory unloading corrupted information etc.) and some only occur as a "freak accident" because the Windows session had some weird corruption while booting.
In other words, I can't help you with the issue unless you happen to live nearby and I have a look at your system, but I can guarantee the download is safe. Something you can always try is to re-install Windows, blow out dust with canned air and re-seat the various connectors in your PC case.
Lastly, which antivirus do you use? If it's Norton, McAfee or some other commercialized trash: They're awful, (EDIT, this part is no longer true) catch far less viruses than Kaspersky, Avast or even Windows Defender(/EDIT), show constant false positives and should never be used by anyone (in this case, also never go back to the shop where you bought your PC because they know less than the average 1st-year vocational school IT student).
Anyway, I double-checked the download and I'm not seeing any problems. Hopefully this is the last time you encounter the issue.
Kaspersky antivirus marks "ModManager" as "PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic", when you trying to launch the mods via ModManager. Using Win7, so that cant be just Win10 issue.
Doesnt check it, just delete the file. I need my PC on working state right now and cant take a risk.
