Apart from that, I'd go with the 2009 version. Its main gameplay is identical, it just looks like a game from 2009. You can also port over your games from the original to the remaster if you change your mind.
Balance and progression is better in the original. You don't get the multiplayer backpacks which make the game way too easy so they warped the game's balance to try and compensate it seems. Original still can be very difficult on the hardest setting. But it's not from the sort of cheapness of ReMarstered of regularly having tons of soliders spawning in instantly behind you.
