Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered

Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered

Which version should I play? 2009 or Re-Mars-tered?
I know it sounds stupid, because the answer is obvious; Re-Mars-tered.
BUT, I got a condition here. I just have a potato notebook PC to play games.
Here's what I got: i3 5005u / 8GB of RAM / intel HD 5500 dedicated graphics with 128MB VRAM (2GB shared). *I don't know if shared memory counted as VRAM, too. Is it?
After reading some benchmark sites, I found out that my rusty potato barely meets the minimum requirements for Re-Mars-tered version. And I can't find any benchmark video of the game using the same machine on youtube. There is one, but no information given in the video.
So, for better experience, should I play the original 2009 version, or go with Re-Mars-tered?

And just curious, what are the improvements implemented on Re-Mars-tered version, beside the enhanced graphics?
I mean, if the improvements was all about graphics, I will just go straight to the original 2009 version. Because I couldn't see the graphics improvement with my potato anyway.

The improvements are almost all graphics. Aside from that, the remaster adds post-game abilities like resetting all the world's destructible buildings (i.e. all of them), and purchaseable ability backpacks and vanity sledgehammers from the multiplayer. Its MP is also on a separate loop from the original 2009 version's MP, and the small group of people still meeting up occasionally to play it usually play on the remaster. Also, a handful of minor AI bugs.

Apart from that, I'd go with the 2009 version. Its main gameplay is identical, it just looks like a game from 2009. You can also port over your games from the original to the remaster if you change your mind.

in addition, the 2009 version is noticeably more stable than the remastered version

Driving physics are glitchy, slidey and wonky in Re-Mars-Stered.

Balance and progression is better in the original. You don't get the multiplayer backpacks which make the game way too easy so they warped the game's balance to try and compensate it seems. Original still can be very difficult on the hardest setting. But it's not from the sort of cheapness of ReMarstered of regularly having tons of soliders spawning in instantly behind you.
