WHY IS IT CONSTANTLY CRASHING?!
Hi,

Here are my specs before anybody asks:
GTX 1070 8GB
Intel i7 6700k 4.0Ghz
16GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 10 PRO

Right now I've tried finbishing the tutorial 10 times and it is constantly crashing part-way through it. I destroy the building I'm supposed to destroy and then...puff... crash. Or I would even say that it is freezing as I can hear the music, but I get black screen and none of the commands work.

I can bring up the task manager using ctr/alt/del menu, but all I can do from there is log off and sign in to my PCs user account again as nothing but black screen shows up.

I can't be too furious given that I got this remaster for free as I already own the original, but notheless, it's terribly annoying that it crashes for no darn reason at all.

Tried that already, along with the Windowed Mode as well as going through the compatibility modes for Windows 7 etc. No dice.
Another rushed release I guess.

Well IIRC it's caused by a problem with particle rendering and they are working on fixing it as a priority

I seen a post it seems like a particle rendering issue just gonna have wait it out till devs release patch you can try reducing graphic settings but it seems very random at times for me. Sometimes I can get thirty plus minutes in, other times I get only a few minutes in.

Like I said above, yet another rushed release. Surely they must've known it was causing crashes prior to release, no? Oh, who am I kidding, they probably weren't testing it at all.

I fully understand that as I've read the post in the bugs thread, but in all honesty it sounded like a joke from their side. We need to wait a couple of days as they only have 2 people dealing with the rendering and both of them are on holidays at the same time. What a joke.

Honestly, nobody from their team tried to play it for at least 30 minutes to confirm that it has no crashing issues prior to releasing it? It sure doesn't seem that way.

zero crashes. all maxed. weird ♥♥♥♥

Did you invithe them to your home to test it on your PC? Did they actually come?
If not: Not everybody experienced the problems you did, maybe not even the majority. Chances are that the testers didn't.

Use "Fullscreen Windowed". It'll work. Make sure to click "apply" or whatever it says. Once that is done, exit the game completely. You might have to give it a min if screen goes black. Reboot game, the main game screen should then appear not in a window and fullscreen, without crashing at the first building/mission.

Fullscreen Windowed is not an official fix just for those wondering. I'm getting consistent crashes throughout the game. I made it passed the tutorial no problem. Now it can happen when any building starts collapsing. Game is more unplayable than playable currently. Just unbearably frustrating when you've progressed through an entire mission then blam! Crash, progress lost.

All I can say is give it a few days to a few weeks and they'll patch it. Just seems like more and more and more games are having horrible launched more often than not =/.

Though I must say, what I've been able to play is super great. Wish there destruction physics like this in more games.
