No FOV greater than 85?

They added it in Steam Edition but removed it later in a patch.
I guess becuase a lot of people were complaining about it.
Frankly I did as well but have since given in and actually used it were I could.

Hope they add it back in again.

this is certainly not much of a "remaster" but since its free then I wont complain too much.

even 85 fov looks goofy as hell and objects look unnatural and stretched out when panning around.

and even some new games dont have 21:9 support or have issues with it.

Third person FOV is different than First person FOV. 100 FOV in a Third person game will be unplayable.

I can change my refresh rate. Also, if you play on Windowed Borderless the refresh rate will be the same as your desktop.

Game is free for everyone with the old RFG or 10 bucks for new costumers, which is a fantastic price.

The game includes enough new features to feel decent in 2018, but Volition can't work miracles. The base game has 9 years. Get over it.

Fov strange ingame for 21/9 what fov? 70-85 sooo fisheye.
And refresh change check msi ab fps change and vsync.

The 85 is vertical fov, not horizontal. 85 leads to a massive fov that actually looks really off and warped. Believe me, the fov is plenty.

21:9 is a feature not a standard
refresh rate higher than 60hz is a feature not a standard

i have a 21:9 and 200hz monitor 20 games support 21:9 but suck at higher hz and other 15 dont support 21:9 force the full screen streched what is ♥♥♥♥ but are okey with more than 60hz

alltogether i order 2 new monitors with 16:9 2k and 165hz, i dont care if a game dont support more than 60hz but the 21:9 black bars or forced streched is annoying as ♥♥♥♥

The number is for Ver FOV not Hor FOV, if you set to 85 it will be Fisheyed, AFAIR 55 is about same as 85, use the BFBC2 FOV calculater to verifiy

I am using a 21:9 monitor and a fov of 75 looks about right for me. also my monitor supports amd freesync with up to 75hz and luckily i get flawless smooth 75 fps all the time :)
