Having a hard time creating fences

No matter what I do I can't seem to make fences! I double click to finish the area and nothing happens. It's not my mouse. I have no mods installed. I have watched video on how to make a fence. I have made a fence in other AC games but I cannot seem to make a fence in this one. Yes, the tribe knows how to make the wattle/low fence. Any advice?

Maybe some of the segments you want to put are in the red zone. If when you click to place them you see the 3d models of the fences in green then it should work.

No, that's not an issue. Everything works fine but that double click that's supposed to make the fencing "create" for the clan to build. I can't make a short fence nor even a small square fence. None of the fencing is on an angle or even a hill either. Yes, the 3d model of the fence is in green but double clicking to create just doesn't work for me.

So the confirmation is not working for you it seems.
I have no issues with the finalising for blueprint on fences, so here is a few suggestions that might help you out :)

1, If you have placed down more than 128 fences that is waiting to be built, system will stop you so the last sections do not happen. I do not know if you already have placed down a ton of fences waiting to be cleared for building or if you have none.
If you have tons placed down in same condition then try to wait till some of the fences placed down already has been cleared as the game has a limit on how many with same condition can be placed down same time.

2. If you have none, then I suggest that you verify all files, just to be sure.

3. Try to start new game and place down fences, if you can, then smt is hindering you in the other tribe, and terrain is likely the culprit even tho it does not quite sit right with me.
If you have placed fences over the same area before but dismantled them, then this could be a smol issue in the cells, for this to be verified we need your save game, this can be sent to us by pressing CTRL+R and post the number you get here :)

4. You can also try to delete the documents folder and see if this does the trick as maybe the save has become corrupt.: Documents/Uncasual Games directory

If none of these things help you out, please press CTRL+R in the problem tribe and post the number you get here so it can be looked at :)

It was your tutorial that I watched hon. tysm as your tuts have helped me immensely. I will try all that you have mentioned and I truly appreciate the time and effort you have put in to make clear, concise, and very helpful notes and tuts to help everyone new to the game.

Since making my original post I have started a new game. Creating fences is still an issue. However, I will keep at it with the suggestions you've made. Tysm!

I'm thoroughly enjoying the game as an addict to survival/builder games lol. So thanks to the devs as well! I'm sure I'll have some QoL suggestions at some point as an old(er) gamer with pain and disability issues.
