I spawned in the big upper island in Scotland and no plant fibers or reeds can be found on any maps I migrate to. Plus if you migrate to lakes or ponds no trees were spawning either. So I also get no sticks. And I am stuck to that island. Can you guys find ways to populate reeds and plant fibers to lakes and ponds etc while trees also spawn in those locations? Cause there was multiple lakes and ponds etc I tried migrating to but nothing like that spawned. For all three resources types. This has made me restart game from beginning.
I understand in certain areas you won't get all resources but for every place I migrated to on a massive island I got nothing..
i made em crop the and whole river side but they refuse and started revolting by not doing anything but starve :S i need a whip animation button
Try placing all priorities but Reed (and Fibre) on 2 or 3, this can be jo-joed all the time for higher equality of income, and the first year you might have to. Assigning separate groups to these storage areas also tend to speed up the gathering.
Remember to place priority lower (3) on also raw food and honey baskets and all pits.
Dont forget to jo-jo the priorities, take your time to make quick adjustments so food income does not suffer for too long. ( I pause my game or place to speed 1 when this is being done)
Always have a few people on "Free Will", meaning no group association, they will tend to tribe tasks during work-hours if mats are available, otherwise they will go to "next task on priority" ++
Keep in mind that you can have camped on a locality poor for both Fibre and Reed, so if you cannot manage to increase the supply of Reed or Fibre, migration is the next step.
Not all localities are suitable for long-term habitation.
Try camping near Rivers if you are new to the game <3
Good Luck! :)
