1. Objects with service functions that are assigned to a specific group or to tribe, has services all can and will use no matter who has the responsibility to repair it. so baskets assigned to groups has no say over who eats from the food in them, entire tribe will eat from them.
2. When stating that one shall not assign food to dryers when famine or severe lack of food, it means that you remove the selected food the dryer shall contain so tribe can eat raw food in the time of crisis.
3. Rationing people should ONLY happen when food crisis, never otherwise as you will kill off your people slowly but surely by undernourishment.
4. Keeping people so busy that they go to bed without eating will make them wake up very hungry and angry.. "Hangry", so be careful with having prolonged high work hours.
5. Having too few baskets means people will have to stand forever in lines, so when you have 50+ people you should ideally divide all food of same type in many baskets and not only a few, as people will stand in line for hours trying to get food.
This is how you assign and un-assign objects to tribe and/or group

This is what policies do, and how they affect the tribe

If you're doing well on all these points and still have issues, please CTRL+R in-game and post the number you get here so we can go over it to help you out :)
EXAMPLE : A basket assigned to a group will be repaired by the members of that group but anyone in the tribe can store or take from that basket.

This must be a bug then, I watched LadyLillyno's videos (which were very helpful and excellent, thank you!) but my people are still starving. I made sure the baskets are assigned to the tribe, and that resources can be both stored and extracted. I have several baskets across my village to make sure no lines develop, but the starvation issue persists.
Additionally, hunters won't pick up bows, fishermen won't pick up harpoons, and unfortunately, there is no direct way to assign a tool to a specific person. I have 15 bows and 8 harpoons, but no one will touch them. Its really confusing how to get people to access resources :(
Post number here
So, this could basically just mean that not all people get enough food to avoid starvation.
If you calculate roughly 1 unit of food per member, a tribe of 100 will need 200 units of food per day to survive.

I know that the historical period is huge and it would be difficult to realize it in real time, but wouldn't it be possible to "slow down" the passage of time a bit and, for example, treat one day as one year of human life? This would mean that the average Spiens would live around 60-70 years, i.e. 60-70 days in the game. In the life of such a man and tribe, a lot would happen and build during this time (as in real life). In such a community, knowledge would be passed on more fruitfully to children and grandchildren (because that was the case) and would not die with the death of a person. Migration is nice, but wouldn't be necessary (optional).
Can't buildings be placed faster? Shouldn't a cabin be built in one year of the life of the average sapiens? And smaller things like tools - even faster? So I'm asking for a better balance of playtime, work and lifespan (even on the easiest settings).
I know that one of the main goals of this game is to get food and resources. Is it possible to increase their yield and reduce their susceptibility to spoilage, especially in the simplest game settings?
The above difficulties make the game quite difficult and requires a lot of attention, even with the simplest settings. This discourages some people from "our" game. It's sad to read negative comments from people who get discouraged and quit the game after a few hours. I would like "our" game to develop and make many people happy, because now it deserves it, and its improvement would make it even more charming. After all, the point is that people really like the game and have fun playing it.
Greetings to the whole team and everyone here :)
