Octopus Parts Drop?

I'm having trouble find parts for this one. I've one 1 so far. On mobile this guy was like my 5th ship. On PC I've just beating 13 on normal, have 23 cards, 8 ships and only 1 Octupus Part.

Any tips?

Play the first 45 seconds of level 7 using:

Pilot: Lucy Clover
Plane: Ace of Spades.

If the 2 boxes in the first 45 seconds don't drop what you want, quit/die and try again.

Once you get a part, just focus on avoiding everything except for the persistent choppers and ground turrets, to bring the part out of the level.

Repeat until you have the parts.

Sorry, this was not correct. I ran 30 tries between all 4 difficultes and have zero drops for parts.
I switched to the classes with card 24, used the Lucky as the tech:
I was far more successfull by simply playing any plane on a difficulty I hadn't maxed out yet.
