Which brings up the question, should there be a Joy 1 and a Joy 2 and an Xinput Gamepad 1 and Xinput Gamepad 2? What does your menu shows? Im starting to think it might be a Windows problems assigning controllers, ( who knows). The only additional info I can give you is that the only time I know which pad is which is a the controls menu since the Xinput controller is the only one that can initiate a button change. Another thing I notice is that regardless of the number assignment in the menu, whichever controller starts a game, it will be set as number 1.
Im going to try to connect one controller normally and the second via bluetooth and see what happens.
EDIT:
tried the bluetooth approach and still no dice. Still the same
