2385619 (Dec 20, 2017)

- Nightmare difficulty now grants x4 stars!
- Bosses at stages 11 and 13 give some more stars.
- More fixes for ultrawide screens.
- EMP at Stage 5 loses its focus twice during the game.
- Stage B2's ending happens a bit later, so you should be able to collect all the stars on Nightmare difficulty without that much hassle.
- Fixed player's speed when controlled by mouse on high refresh rate displays.

- Card Radar - holding down Up/Down arrow on your keyboard should now move the slider continuously.
- Fixed switching planes after starting the game.
- Fixed Switching both planes with one controller.
- Fixed low volume sound when items appeared.
- Added minimal support for 4:3 (5:4 and others) aspect ratio. Most UI elements should align properly, but there may be some places when they overlap or are cut off by the screen.
- Reverted fullscreen mode to Borderless Window, as users were reporting performance drops with V-Sync enabled, as well as stretching the game window on ultrawide displays. This change coincides with Windows 10's major update that may affect fullscreen display modes. Please report of any issues and is exclusive mode forced from launch options working for you.
- Added support for 21:9 aspect ratio. Despite of anyone's tolerance for graphical glitches on ultrawide displays, this game was not designed to fully cover such screens and we don't want our players to look under Reloaded's skirt (pardon the metaphore). That's why the desired behaviour is letterboxed 16:9, with minor changes possible down the road, should they become necessary or beneficial enough.

- Added D-Pad support. Please, revert to default controls to make it work.
- Fixed some translation errors and typos.
- Fixed incorrect application icon.
- Fixed a bug related to the Christmas Tournament.

The fullscreen mode stays at "exclusive", at least for the time being. We need some additional hardware to evaluate the different modes. If you think this caused some trouble for you, please use the "Launch Options" with the following:
-window-mode borderless
Also, DualShock 3 support for Linux seems to be really troublesome, without 3rd party drivers, so if you have any software that can successfuly emulate an XInput device on your Linux distribution - please use it. It's also cool if you share your working setup.

[linux] I can now reconfigure the buttons of my xin-mo based arcade stick. :)
When I switch the xin-mo controller in D-Pad mod, does not work though (directional).

Since my arcade stick has "only" 4 buttons: I put laser and fire on button 3, put super charge on button 0, and turn on autofire.

A good thing would be to have "super charge" on fire button "on hold". This mecanics is used in other shmups to spare a button :) If auto-fire is on, then the "fire - supercharge" button would behave like supercharge.

Peter, the bug with the game icon is back again :) . You shouldn't have a big problem to fix it this time :D :D :D

@Mzuz: What's the use case for this? Doesn't your monitor basically do that?

@42: Please tell me the name of the controller displayed in the config menu? I'll see if we can extend the controller map compatibility for your device.

It really says that? I mean the controller options menu in the game. Pardon my surprise, I was expecting something along the lines of "Generic controller bla bla".

Yes it does, but i forgot to turn vsync in the drivers back on.After the patch i played some rounds with ≈900 fps and after i turned it back on, 60fps doesn't felt so smooth anymore ;)

The game works much better in exclusive full screen. With windowed fullscreen, there are many problems with gsync and performance, and the Unity engine with exclusive full screen always works much better.

It would be best to put all the options in the game for the user to choose between: exclusive full screen, borderless windowed fullscreen, windowed mode. But I insist on the exclusive full screen mode is the best option.

May be obvious, but can we return to the non-beta build of SFR, or shall we expect more fixes and test in the near futur with the beta build?
