What is the best Legendary familiar to bribe?

I have reached R3, I am tired of failing at persuading legendary familiars so I would like to know what familiar I should bribe for 1,600 gems. I am a high damage based player. I do have one legendary schematic for Korgz but I still need to grind a lot to collect and fuse the ingredients, so until then, who should I bribe? Thanks.

Well, in terms of what would be most useful, I would focus on making certain Epic fusions like Squibbo, Quirk, etc. - they will perform better than a Legendary base familiar by far. In fact it's very reasonable to go about the whole game now without ever bribing a single Legendary; if you've checked how Korgz is made, you'll see no Legendaries in there, yet people still regard it as one of the best damage dealer companions you can take into a battle.

However, there are some Legendary fusions that require you to get certain Legendaries (usually 2 of them). They're all useful to some degree of course, but I would say the only really notable Legendary fusion like this is the deflect tank Astally, a fusion of Astaroth (R1) + Bully (R3). Deflect tanks are very useful for PvP and Invasion, and this is the only way so far to get a familiar with 12% deflect rate (otherwise you can opt for a couple Epic fusion options like Rolace or Ulairus).

Even then, you can still find a suitable Legendary PvP tank in Rolesker, which is made from Epic fusions. And for the other solo PvE content (Trials/Gauntlet, mostly) you would probably prefer a tank with better mitigation like Bobodom - which coincidentally is also made from Epic fusions.

tl;dr - if you really want to bribe some Legendary fams, focus on Astaroth (R1) and Bully (R3).

If you get lucky enough to run into one of the treasure goblin type legendaries, I'd go for those. They can be a pain to try and get because they don't show up often, and the chance of them offering to join you is really low. The legendary raid bosses have a low chance of being persuaded, but they're always going to be there.

I would like to catch one of those rare treasure familiars for sure. I think Seedlings is right, I should work on catching and fusing epic familiars and work up from there. I have Borlan and Shrampz, but considering I am in R3 now, I need to upgrade. There are so many choices, I have a long list of epic schematics I have never fused... maybe squibbo first.
