Is there a way to restart the game from scratch?

Yes, by creating another character.

And how do you do that? I can see no option or button anywhere to do it

Try this... Go to Kongregate, make a new account and character, link that new character to steam.

I've tried, but it doesn't work. Even though the accounts are linked, Steam keeps loading the same characters if the one on Kongregate didn't exist.

Why do you want to do this tho? There is literally no way to do something wrong in the begining

Well, some people might want to keep re-rolling accounts until they get one that pulls a Legendary out of a gem shop egg/box. It's not that uncommon of a behavior to see in any game offering lootbox/gachapon stuff, especially when that stuff can influence gameplay.

As for completely restarting, I unfortunately don't have any idea how that would work outside of creating another account.

For the record, if you send a request to the game helpdesk at https://juppiomenz.zendesk.com/hc/en-us, they'll disable your current account so that you can create a new character.
