Controller mapping

Hi all (is there anybody in there)
I need to use a controller. This game allows it but for some reason they have chosen to put jump on pov up. I don't know why anyone would do that but I would like to put jump on A (south button) XBone pad. I've found what looks like a gamepad configuration page but can't work out how to use it (I don't even know if you can use it) it's at SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Formless Adventure\Engine\Config and I wondered if anyone knows how to re configure it or even if it can be re configured. Any help gratefully received. It opens with notepad.
