Do animals interact with each other?

Title, i played a lot JW2 but im looking for a more "realistic" dinosaurs game, this looks good but im still on the fence.

they dont do anything at all besides walk around and cycle random animations, nothing been added at this point. the only AI they have is that they eat/drink when needed, but they cant die either yet so it doesnt really matter

its ironic the creatures are accurate reconstructions of the real animals but they dont feel/act like animals, wheras the sci-fi counterpart (jwe) has many inaccuracies but has animistic behaviours. its like a game of would you rather for the dinosaur enthusiasts instead of both being equally good.

Im pretty sure they mentioned this year they are going to focus on animal ai so you should check back in next year and see how it is
