Be sure to uncheck the option of time/weather in order to turn both on or off. Afterwards you can move the slider to any time, or click on the weather icons to change the weather. If it doesn't work after trying all that, then please submit a bug to the developers by using the "submit bug" option in the main menu of the game.

yep..made a bug report, but this really is annoying ..it's so dark most of the time I cannot see to play

I can't use any of the buttons/sliders in the weather menu. Could it be because I'm on an ultrawide screen?

Yea my screen is ultra wide curved if that matters along with what Chop said above…???
