Where is the demo download?

I remember that some years ago there was a downloadable demo of the game there on steam, but I can't find it anymore, so I was wondering... where is the demo download?

It was only available for a short amount of time, and then was taken down. If you had a copy before then, you can still play it the way I do though.

i had it but my computer broke. it was taken down before i got this computer and was able to redownload my steam games

I still have it on my computer. Do they still update it through steam on here?

Demo won't ever update. It isn't a live copy.

the demo was very simplistic, i gave it a shot but there wasn't much to do in it, leave it be lad :) we'll have to wait and see when the game releases or goes into early access

Well, there's a quite a bit to there as far as I could tell. 75 hours on the non-live demo.
