Nah, not really, that's IF you put them together. I will be keeping herbivores and carnivores seperated from one another. The trick is to create natural looking barriers to keep them seperated (fences hiding in rock and cliff formations and such), yet still make it look like a single enclosure and/or a whole. It's the same trick you can use with Zoo Tycoon 2. This is already possible within the current demo, which I've tried and looks really wonderful by the way.
That said, I like your idea for a Mammoth Steppe enclosure, it's simular to what I've had in mind for some of the zones. :)
On my side, I will certainly made an Pleistocene themed island. But I will also, make a personalised ecosystem, with so many choices I certaintly will be able to build something.
Just imagine an Paracetherium herd (never understand why they changed the name in the 90's), with parasaurolophus around them.
I think one of the other reasons is that they probably wanted to include another Mongolian dinosaur to the list and Prenocephale is an interesting addition. It's also a (sort of) contemporary of both Protoceratops and Velociraptor, which makes it the ideal candidate for an arid desert like Mongolian dinosaur exhibit.
You mean to say Pachychephalosaurus is not weird looking? (:D
