My suggestions (+ wishlist) 💖
Before I begin I'd like to say THANKS to the devs for making this project possible! I've always loved animals, and even more the extinct ones... Being able to make our own prehistoric zoos is AWESOME! Let us begin now!

ADDING AQUATIC CREATURES:
Animals like Mosasaurus hoffmani, Kronosaurus queenslandicus and Ichthyosaurus communis would be great in the game. I'd like the big ones to be added but also the normal-sized ones, for variety. Even prehistoric sharks would be a great addition to the roster, but that's on you devs to decide. https://youtu.be/WRQ-RSNImIM https://youtu.be/OfZnBV_LFZc https://youtu.be/mkw593Qa19U
ADDING CROCODYLIFORMES:
Species like Deinosuchus rugosus or Sarcosuchus imperator would be fascinating to see in Prehistoric Kingdom! https://youtu.be/8ZR7hRSQt9E https://youtu.be/Vfg69kUt2eI https://youtu.be/qruxOVmSfyY
ADDING FLYING CREATURES:
There are plenty of extinct flying animals to choose from, but the most iconic are withouth doubt, the Pteranodon longiceps and the Argentavis magnificens, among others, of course. Pterosaurs were great, and extremely diverse! https://youtu.be/mfYuvlE78Nk Also, here is a website about pterosaurs, which can be useful for you guys: http://www.pteros.com/pterosaurs.html

ADDING A LARGE CARCHARODONTOSAURID:
Having either Giganotosaurus carolinii or Carcharodontosaurus saharicus in Prehistoric Kingdom would be awesome considering that the only carcharodontosaurid the game has is Acrocanthosaurus atokensis, which is cool, but not as big and iconic as the aforementioned dinosaurs. Plus, we all know that Tyrannosaurus rex needs some competition! ;) https://youtu.be/RSsAa0sG4-M
SANDBOX FEATURE: a toggle for creatures dying of old age on/off
The possibility to toggle animals dying of old age on/off is a MUST-HAVE feature. This would increase our connection with animals even more, plus, it’s sad to watch how our beloved animals die.

TOGGLEABLE/OPTIONAL BLOOD:
The possibility to chose whether to see or not see blood would be nice (for sensitive audiences).

MOD SUPPORT (STEAM WORKSHOP INTEGRATION):
Being able to change skins (textures), sounds (including music) and models would be great!

were will probably get both charchcarodontosaurus(that is hard to spell) and Giga because the Devs are very nice and i think they would do that for us :)
(but can you make the giga big this time not like JW evolution)

I hope so! That would be cool! :steamhappy:

I'm confident that both creatures (if added) will have accurate sizing. The devs have done a great job with every single animal, so I don't think they'll mess these two up ;)

Some links to informational videos have been added to help better understand the reasons to WHY add certain content/features to the game.

blood and dismembering, lol.....this isn't mortal kombat

Look the facts are they will probably have blood shown as somewhat realistic, but this is still a game that attracts younger and even very young children as customers. There are not going to be heads flying off xD

yea I woke up in a mood. i just think we are going to have some blood, just for a bit of realistic but I think it is going to be very very limited.

might be able to toggle it on and off, but i think it would be small enough sort of like JPOG level that it wouldnt be necessary

I just removed dismemberment from my wishlist since it's not really necessary. Thanks Rum Hum for the useful feedback

Not a problem, not that I know what they are planning though anyway. For all I know maybe they are still on the fence about what level of violence they are even going to have in the game.

But I assume since is on a good level of realism type of game, they are going for that sort of thing, at least some slight blood effect.

since this game seems kind of child friendly if you think of it long enough, it would be nice to be able to turn blood on and off, i remember when saurian used to have blood but instead of being able to turn it on and off they just removed it completely, and they're going for scientifficly accurate, saurian devs, do you think a trike without a scar on it or anything from being bitten by a t rex is ACCURATE?

Yeah... totally disappointing. I hope Prehistoric Kingdom devs actually add an option to toggle blood on/off instead of removing it completely.

So I've been a prehistoric animal fan since I was little so a game based of accuracy is perfect! I have SO many suggestions for this game like so many that it ain't funny. So i was thinking like more than 500 prehistoric creatures like obviously dinosaurs but also mammals, big reptiles like crocodiles (Deinosuchus, Sarcosuchus, Kaprosuchus, Laganosuchus, etc.), lizards (I can only think of Megalainia), snakes (probably only Titanoboa unless they add Gigantophis in a DLC), birds (that not only includes terror birds like Gastornis, Titanis, Phorasrhacos, etc. But also birds during the Mesozoic period like Confususornis.), archosaurs (Postosuchus, Saurosuchus, Terrestrisuchus, Ornithosuchus, and Prestosuchus. Plus Desmatosuchus and a few others), amphibians (Beelzebufo, Ichthyostega, Acanthostega, Tiktaalik, Eogyrinus, etc.), fish ( obviously Megalodon is a must have and a definite candidate, but other sharks like Cretoxyrhina, Hybodus, Helicoprion, Edestus, etc. Also other fish like Leedsichthys, Bananogmis, Enchodus, Gillicus, etc.) I doubt they would do invertebrates but I can only think of Arthropleura, Pterygotus, Megalograptus, Anomalocaris, and Pulmonoscorpious. Now one tyrannosaur species that's underappreciated is Daspletosaurus so I'd like to see that species with Albertosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Nanotyrannus, Lythronyx, and even Nanuqsaurus. Bajadasaurus should be a candidate for this game too even though it was recently discovered but maybe a DLC of recent discoveries, same with Siats and Ingentia. Obscure, bizarre creatures should have a DLC like Concavenator, Ichthyovenator, Agustinia, Olorotitan, etc. IDK about Gojirasaurus don't get me wrong I'd love to see that guy in the game but in main launch or DLC? IDK. Primates are a must in my book especially Gigantopithecus and Australopithecus, but also add Dinopithecus, Mesopithecus, Proconsul, and the Giant Lemur (I forgot what the scientific name is). Dromaeosaurs are awesome and we know Velociraptor and Utahraptor are coming, but how about the additions of Deinonychus, Austroraptor, Dakotaraptor, Dromaeosaurus, and the extremely rare Pyroraptor. I, like some people, believe a recent extinct animals DLC is planning on being made so some new additions could be animals we lost in the 2000s like a subspecies of Black Rhinoceros. Plus the extinct tiger species Bali, Caspian, and Javan. And can someone answer this: is the Barbary Lion extinct? Pterosaurs will be awesome I can think of some like we know Pteranodon is a definite, but also Quetzalcoatlus, Tapejara, Nyctosaurus, Hatzegopteryx, Alanqa, Tupanodactylus, Dsungaripterus, Ornithocheirus, Tropeognathus, etc. Even small pterosaur species like Dimorphodon, Rhamphorhynchus, Anuragnathus, Peteinosaurus, Eudimorphodon, etc. I can go all day with name suggestions there's just so many animals I'd love to see in this game. What do y'all think?

500 animals, GreenHoneyBadger? That'll take ages to put all those in it!

That's probably a wise decision. Many experts are still debating the validity of the current body shape proposed by Sereno and Ibrahim back in 2014. The model they used was actually a mix of several incomplete animals of different ages and sizes. They increased smaller samples to sizes they thought would be plausible for an adult animal. Not everyone was and is convinced of the shape or can agree on locomotion. The front limbs just aren't suited for quadropedal movement. We really need some good fossil evidence.

What we do know for sure is that it was a piscivore (fish eater) and spend most time submerged in water. Behaviour is something that will always be speculative, but we can look at modern analogues who have similar lifestyles. In this case a mix of grizzly and gavial.
Hello, i'm from the future. Does anyone know of any news after the 2020 discoveries? It would be amazing to have it in the game. Maybe in a hypothetical aquatic DLC?
1v4n94 Feb 6, 2021 @ 1:08am
I was about to comment something stupid about time travel... nevermind. Though if you're supposedly from the future you should not be asking us about "news" 😄

Both aquatic and flying animals are probably going to be added either post-launch or during early access (no insights -to my knowledge- on DLC).

I remember news dropping earlier on the official blog page: https://www.prehistorickingdom.com/news/

Cheers! 🙂
