Yes, this is possible. You cannot perform this action through the title, but instead need to go through file explorer on the PC. Save data is located here:
C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Fruit\Saved\SaveGames – Where XXXX is the username of the signed in user.
Inside this folder you will find a file called Default.sav – Delete this, or move it somewhere for safe keeping if you think you might want to go back to your own progress at a later date. You might also need to turn off the cloud synchronisation on Steam to avoid simply redownloading the previous save data.
[Right click on Shooty Fruity] > [Select Properties] > [Select Updates] > [Uncheck the Steam Cloud check box]
This can be turned back on after creating new save data, and then select whether you want to keep the local files, or the ones on the cloud next time you launch.
