This looks like an old school wrestling game but the controls are horrible. Couldn't get my wrestler to do anything but twitch on the ground. Back to No Mercy I guess

Games been disappointing so far chaotic tho. Controls are dumbed down and I skipped training. spam hit grapple stomp repeat till special. In the process your characters will flail around for 30-50% of it. Submission just drain energy even after 1-2 mins hold no tap out. matches can end unexpectedly to unknown stoppage or elimination leading to loss. Training works sometimes telling you to smash buttons but its not read like that so you might not gain anything id suggest sparring. Pinning can damn near feel broken id rather be in a last man standing because you can hit a finisher on red bar and they still get up. throw the whole kitchen sink they still get up. Between the fun and tedious bs id suggest buying wwe on sale atp. I like the multiple leagues, real people and dialogue but theirs more bad then good

This is not the free-roam wrestling game you saw the likes of Vargskelethor play. MDickie's control website states it was created in the year 2000, and this game feels like it was made in the year 2000. Otherwise, wouldn't recommend, consider buying the more updated versions which are this game but more refined, try all of its different flavours too.

Might be passable for mobile, but this is absolutely unplayable on PC compared to every game in the series before it. Framerate capped and controls dumbed down to suit mobile. Should have left the game there and not bothered with a PC port for this version.

After playing this game's follow up, Wrestling Empire, for a considerable number of hours and going back to this one afterward, I can't say much about it. It doesn't play or control very well. It's definitely not a classic wrestling game. Id doesn't even look nice at all by comparison.

For what it is, it's good and all, but given the choice, go with Empire instead.

What is this garbage. I loved MDickie back in the day but this...wow. Stay away. Buggy as crap. Goodluck selecting the card, doesnt matter what you pick it will be the same match for every single thing. Main event, mid card doesnt matter. Constantly battling the controls, at one point the selection literally moved off the screen to where you couldnt see them anymore.

This shouldnt be for sale.

I may have been expecting too much. It'd be a great sequel to No Mercy, if the controls were smoother. Hope the next one you come out with is a little more polished. You should have really stuck more to the THQ combat style and less like the smackdown.

Bad:
-Runs at like 10 fps.. really.
-No tutorial
-Convoluted as ♥♥♥♥ controls
-Better than WWE 2k-whatever but not even close to as fun as Fire Pro.

You can try it if you want, I'll probably keep playing it just out of
morbid curiosity that the controls and gameplay can't be this bad
if it has this many good reviews and seems like it could be fun.
But tbh at this point in my life I have a million better things to do with my time.
If you're a wrestling fan or a nostalgia junkie, like me, just get Fire Pro Wrestling instead.

So off the bat, you know why most games stick to using boring background music and not a three minute buttrock track? because that same song over and over and over again gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying.

Once you get past that you realise that it is the only sound file in the game that is not compressed to such a level that even an N64 on fire, in outer space would play the royal london symphony orchestra at a better quality.
Once i got past the urge to stab my own eardrums and take up smoking again I decided to mute the whole thing.
So the gameplay, it's... uhh.. well im sure its uhh... Jesus there is no easy way of saying this....
Imagine No mercy. WAIT NO! Imagine WCW/NWO Revenge!! yeah!! Now Imagine what that would be like if 3 quaters of your controller didnt work and button mashing was a vital tactic to win.
Now forget that ♥♥♥♥ and accept the fact that the game makes its own rules as it goes.
Im seriously convinced Tommy Wiseau was the leader tester for this... "Game"
Not gunna lie after spending a few hours in this game I realised I had seen all there was to see without modding.
Its tacky, Its lazy, Its well... Its just crap.
And it is crap almost for being the sack of crap.

Do I regret buying this? No. not at all.
Im glad that the money I spent will go towards the creators medication and hopefully help them get the help they need.

Still, it's better than fallout 76 so there is that.
