Hi @Clonze:
https://github.com/Sehelitar/Kick.bot
There's an extension I use for Streamer.bot that does a really good job watching the Kick API functions. It is true that there is no official Kick API yet, but for now, there are "Parts" of the API they are building available for use. I love this extension I linked because when Kick makes breaking changes to the API functions they do have, these guys have been super quick to check and update their stuff to make use of it which has been helpful for me in making sure my kick users chats are still seen by me in the application. Maybe the project owner can point to how they keep track of the API changes
Now of course this would be asking for a lot from you, I thank you for all that you have done with this project, I'm hoping maybe this would be a quick update that could be done to regain the Kick functionality for now? Not expecting you to watch it like a hawk or even fix it every time it breaks, but some slow, periodic updating would be nice! =)
Last thing: Even if I have to buy it again, I would really love if you offered a standalone version of stream avatars, meaning not through steam. The only thing that sucks about it like this is that I can't play any steam games while Steam Avatars is running. Now of course this would require likely a lot of changes for product key management or however you're doing it, but maybe just a future milestone for it would be awesome!
You should be able to run multiple steam games with no problems.
And if its covering up your "ingame" friendslist status, you can modify it in steam properties so that it doesn't do that.
Thank you for the reply, it turns out my issue was that I was using a dual pc stream setup, so steam wasn't letting me run two steam titles from two different PCs at the same time.
Not sure how I'll work around that, at best maybe using NDI but unsure how yhe transparency will be handled. Will have to put it on my todo list to explore when I have some time. I'm a tech worker with some dev stuff I do at work and home for hobby, so always short on free time but always love a challenge. Thanks again for what you do.
