Stream Avatars + xSplit = Not Optimized?
Hey guys! Just wondering if there was anything I could about making Stream Avatars run better in xSplit. I'm pretty much getting extreme lag, not on computer but only the xSplit software whenever I try to run Avatars. It takes 5+ seconds to switch scenes and when I mouse over anything for xSplit it doesn't register for awhile. Mind you, it's literally only xSplit that lags. Anything I can do?

I'd recommend contacting xsplit, they recently added a transparency mode so SA can be used properly. There's nothing I can do to make it work better on xsplit.

Appreciate it! I'll check it out, :D

I know this is an old thread but wondering if MabiVsGames found a solution, as I'm having a similar problem. (I searched but couldn't find any info on this transparency mode)

Back when I was testing with Xsplit, the transparency mode was enabled by default.

Just wanted to update. I have no solution/workaround for XSplit becoming extremely laggy as soon as the Avatars app starts. I've just been using it since creating the thread with the delay. It's really annoying but Stream Avatars has become a big part of the stream. There's no problems with working it in XSplit (AKA getting it to capture+transparency) Before I even begin the Connect button to get things started simply having Stream Avatars open makes it lag like crazy.

Unless Stream Avatars is chewing cpu or gpu when you start it up and it's causing lag...
Xsplit has way more power to figure out why that's happening for you.

Can you check the cpu/gpu usage of stream avatars?

just wanted to see if there was a solution to this. i just contacted xsplit myself and let them know that stream avatars runs slow on their program (even on their PTR).

my CPU remains around 40%-60% when running stream avatars and capture card or low impact steam games (i7-6700), and GPU is usually in the 20%-40% (GTX-1060 3gb).

i still experience HEAVY lag in the response time of Xsplit when i use SA, but once SA is closed, xsplit works like a charm...

again, just seeing if there were any solutions found, but i have a feeling it's an xsplit issue.

ya that definitely sounds very wrong...
try resizing your Stream Avatars window size to 1024x768
does stream avatars run poorly on its own?

maybe OBS is performing work on scaling the application and it's not playing nicely?
