Here's a list of information i'm keeping regarding this:
Things that reportedly helped in some very few cases were:
-Try turning off General > UI Scale (this could cause lag)
-Scaling avatars to large sizes could cause slowdown
-Turning hardware accelerated GPU scheduling on or off in the Windows graphics settings
-Setting nvidia drivers to max performance and turning texture filtering quality to high performance
-(A graphic setting in your game is causing the graphics card to have issues. such as Shadows set to high)
Things that seem to make no difference at all:
-Setting process priority in Windows
Other things I've found, but haven't heard results from so far:
-Apparently Windows game mode can cause these issues when enabled, but nobody I asked so far had it enabled.
Let me know if any of this works for you.
I've posted all the information i've collected on this issue, I'm really unsure of what I could possibly change because this seems to affect just a few people, usually with ryzen cards...
I really thought some of my suggestions like changing a graphic setting for your card, like, Shadows was something that helped someone before.
I have a GTX 2070S and I don't seem to have this problem, but when I stream, I have to run my games on low settings with or without stream avatars running.
I tried this again
-Turning hardware accelerated GPU scheduling on or off in the Windows graphics settings
and it seems helping I can now stream in OBS with SA and NBA2k21 or other games with noticeable lag but manageable for now unlike previously that sa stops.
However I got some Off topic concerns also not using SA extensions on facebook gaming live. It is working fine but I noticed that the changes ive made for my avatar(s) are not save everytime I exit and open the extension link again or typing in again to the chat after my avatar explodes due to inactivity.
However all of my purchase are there... only the avatar setup are no saving that's why I need to do all the gears and colors all over again.
I found out that the most accurate for now is using the facebook chat commands. I can see all of my viewers previous setup still exists unlike using the extension GUI. Hope you can look on to this also thank you :)
look I've tried everything, the sizing won't go down to 480p (I usually have mine set at 720 just for downscaling) I've turned off some options, lowered options in game on all relevant issues, no matter what I do I can't get these avatars to run smoothly on anything except for rocket league and valorant, I would love to run these on forza, call of duty, hell even knockout city but they just don't seem to want to run without severe lag on anything but those two games
2nd pc with a 5900x and 3060.
Both have this issue on certain games.... So try being nicer and finding a solution
Have you tried the suggestions for changing NVidia background application fps? That Nvidia setting can be broken, the default setting doesn't always work so if you set it to 60fps manually, it might actually fix things for you.
