Save game does not work

I'm not sure I understand this question. If you quit Alter Ego and open it later, it will pick up where you left off, but Alter Ego only saves when you quit; it doesn't allow you to restore earlier saves. (In other words, Alter Ego has just one automatic save slot.)

Most games that allow unlimited save/restore effectively allow time travel through the game. That can be a good decision for many games, but it's not appropriate for Alter Ego. (Save scumming would ruin the game, turning it into a chore rather than a life simulator.)

Thank you. In the german demo I could save at any place. In the US-Version I bought from Steam it does not work. Automatic saving after quit does also not work. I must start always from beginning. That is so boring cause I have not the time to play the game at once.
