Dum-Dum won't give me any Gum-Gum! (Monolithic achievement problems)
So I've been trying to figure out how to get the Dum-Dum to open it's mouth to give me some gum-gum. I figured that the color of it's eyes were important. Sometimes they are yellow, oreange, or grey. There is an alter in front of the Dum-Dum. I figured the eye colors meant which ingots it want put into the alter as a sacrifice. I have a Dum-Dum that wants a Copper and a Iron ingot. I gave him that, it made ding noises when I did. I only put one of each, do I need to give the Dum-Dum more ingots? Or am I missing something?

For those wondering why I'm calling the Monolith "Dum-Dum" It's a reference to an older movie called "Night at the Museum" Here is a youtube clip to that funny moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Xf8mT1KkNM

Anywho It's just easier to call the monolith "Dum-Dum" because when he attacked me because I wanted to give him free stuff, that is pretty dumb.

When you drop one of the correct ores in its dish, it'll make a little chime noise and its eye will change to a standard rock colour. If you drop the wrong item in, it'll make a different noise and its eyes won't change colour. Once you've given him the two correct ores he wants, both eyes should have changed to rock colour, and it'll open its mouth, at which point you're free to pick up your ores again if you want, as well as the bonus goodies from his mouth.

If you're definitely putting the correct ores in but he's not responding like he should, please could you email the save game to me at info@sludj.com so I can take a look into what's happening?

Just in case you're not sure, you can find your save game files in the Wrongworld install folder inside wherever you've got Steam installed. For me, that's:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Wrongworld\WindowsNoEditor\Wrongworld\Saved\SaveGames

The save game names match the 3 different slots on the main menu, so there's "1.sav", "2.sav" and "3.sav". That's the only file I'd need - just the one that matches the appropriate slot for the world in question.

Try ore instead of ingots.

Sadly I tried that, but I got no response from the Dum-Dum. :( I got no dingy noises like I did when I put in the ingots. But maybe I'm the Dum-Dum.

Hmmm, it's been a while since I interacted with these guys, but I thought you dropped ore in and got ingots out. Maybe he's bugged?
The author of this topic has marked a post as the answer to their question.
