Slow recovery times can be a pain as you tend to make you rely on reversals to get back in control. Reversals are practically the core mechanic here. Once you can land them efficiently and somewhat consistently, you'll dominate the AI more often than not. I'm not sure what's going on with your buttons not working, though.
Maybe try your hand at creative design or fantasy booking your Universe mode. The whole MyPlayer mode is probably the worst portion of the game in my extremely biased opinion.
Thank you for your input.
As to your comment about investing in a controller, I had one but it broke the night i started playing this.
During the tutorial thing at the Preformance Center it was working but it died shortly after.
R.I.P 2,5y/o controller.
Just got a new one like 30 mins ago so i'll try my hand at it again to see if i can finally beat The Glorious One.
As for the rest of your comment, I allready kinda figured out that the reversals are key, But for someone who has never played a wrestling game before it's kinda hard to find the sweet spot when using them.
So i'm guessing it will take me some/ALOT practice.
I bought the game last night, And started playing at around 23.00h.
Started off with the mycareer thing so i havent really tried anything else.
I'll give the Universe mode a shot and see what that's all about.
Again thank you for your input.
Much appriciated.
why have you played 321 hours in the game?.
Now, for others may not be the same.
Good enough to play this game i assure you.

Ever since the innitial post i've gotten a controller similair to my old logitech one and i have kinda mastered the reversal stuff so I'm playing the game just fine now.
Like i said before i kinda mastered the reversal stuff, got me a decent f310 logitech controller and i'm havng fun smashing all the superstars around.
Allready had the IC and Universal title and now on Smackdown i'm allready holding the WWE Championship belt.
Thank you all for your input, Helped alot and i can now also enjoy wrestling as a game instead of just watching the shows :)
Cheers.
but seriously tho this game is unplayable without a controller, and the only thing great about this game is the new backstage
