Personally I've never used the keyboard controls for the WWE 2K games that I own. Some say it's decent but the majority would recommend you use a controller as the mini-games are harder to do on a keyboard. I use my PlayStation 4's dualshock controller with a program called DS4Windows which is pretty good! Since you probably want to save cash instead of buying a controller I'll just say go buy it, see if you like using the keyboard controls. If you can't see yourself getting use to them than just refund it until you can get yourself a controller.
I play 96% of my games on a keyboard and a mouse, but when it comes to racing games and fighting games I just go for the easy option. Again sometimes it's best to see for yourself. Just make sure if you have to refund that you don't go past the 2 hours mark (stop at 1.5 hours just to be save) and you also refund under two weeks.
Here some links I found from others who had the same question:

Only two threads but I thought they might be helpful. Sorry I can't do much more and I hope you have a great day.
