Win 10 Pro
i7-6850K @4,5Ghz
32GB DDR4 3000MHz DR
GTX 1080 Ti @2GHz
Runs sloppy on 1440p or 2160p, while prepatch I even got 60FPS in 2880p and about 30FPS in 4320p
Ok looks like they changed something about the CPU Thread scheduling (or at least that the creation update for Win10 did some influence here)
EDIT:
The game uses 2 of my cores permanently 100% even in the freaking main menu, my other 4 cores and 6 threads are doing nothing - I remember that the scheduler was way more balanced in the early versions of this game, where it was balanced to at least 4 threads/cores...
I normally run the game at 1920x1200, I did test the framerates in the early days at higher resolutions but my GTX1070 seahawk even though it is heavily overclocked isnt going to win any contest with a GTX1080Ti at 4k res.
your PC is under the minimum specs why bother telling us it performs badly when the manufacturer set the minimum at a higher place then your pc is?.
if it looks like a dog, moves like a dog, and barks like a dog, what would you call it?.
I run an SSD on my PC the other 3 pc's my Neighbours run the game from standard HD's the SSD just loads at a higher speed and it made no diffrence to gameplay.
Performance is the same here (NVMe M.2, SSD or HDD Raid 0) they just affect loading times.
The perf problems are related to the thead scheduler mostly.
Specs:
Intel Core i7 4790K 4.4GHz
GTX 1080 G1 Gaming
32GB DDR3 2400MHz RAM
(Using 4K 65" TV - You don't wanna know the amount of jaggies visible on the screen)
In-Game settings are all maxed except resolution running on 1440p (Don't tell me to go to 1080p because previously I could run the game 1440p even now but extra few FPS drops)
2K should've stuck with the old engine for this game until they've matured with this engine what I mean by *Mature* is to improve it to make performance more better, get rid of bugs etc. those sorts of things instead of making a soon to release game with the new engine, its nice engine in terms of graphically but have defects. Sure every update they fix bugs - annoying ones with no performance fixes, but tbh the game has gone garbage.
Running grapple animation used to be playing the animation that plays when you run and grab (Run with LT + B - Irish Whip), now it's changed to worse animation, when you try doing grapple while running your superstar/diva will stop and do a weird grab which is so slow.
Reversals are like WWE 2K16 but somewhat improved (Still says Too Fast Or Too Slow when pressing the reversal button (RT) on the right timing), solution??? Well here's what I found out...
When you know the reversals timing sometimes the reversals timing assist can make the reversals invalid - thinks its either too fast or late this will happen when you're damaged. Turning Reversal Timing Assist* Off in settings would fix the issue then a new issue with reversals comes up - when you have a large amount of health, you pressed the reversal button at right timing, but it won't work... reversals are generally worse than WWE 2K17 (Best reversal system game with longer loading times with CAWs :P)
Movement feels off & different, when I'm trying to grab someone when they are standing or walking to me with people around me the button doesn't sometimes respond with some input.
Targeting is SOOOOOOOOOO bad, I can't express how many times I'm directly going to the person in front but it targets the wrong person, manual target takes too long to target someone in matches that has 4 or more contestants.
The latest update introduced some new stupid but funny bugs, I recorded it and I'll be uploading it soon when I get a chance.
It feels like to me, a new WWE game has something new and improved but make something else worse - a never ending cycle, I stopped playing WWE ever since SvR 2011, ever since then, the whole WWE headed in the wrong direction, taking things off like Men Vs. Women. I started playing since WWE 2K15 and onward, I realised it was an OK game, I'm glad it arrived on PC (Even though it was late), ever since WWE 2K18, I'm starting to realise again that they (Devs) are again taking the wrong direction its like they are trying to re-make SvR but it's a fail. (FYI I played SvR from 2007 onwards, stopped at 2011, then started on "15 throughout 18))
