image uploader issues

when i try uploading an image to be used ingame it says invalid file type only jpg, jpeg and png images are compatible

which is hilarious because ive tried jpg and png images only... Is there any solution to this issue?

*Solved essentially there was nothing wrong with the pictures themselves but for some reason the importer didnt like taking images from my phone so i put them onto my PC opened them up in paint resaved them and they worked*

it literally just didnt like taking pictures off of my phone id didnt like them once i transferred them to the PC either it was only after i opened them in paint and save them again that they worked

In other words the images were not saved with a standard file header.
you did know that files contain information about themselves in the file and some programs dont put that information in the standard way. so you need to load them into a paint program which normally has all of the tweaks to accept the files without the information and add it.
