Blank Screen on startup

When I launch the game, it simply shows a black screen with the sound playing. Yet when I CTRL+ALT+DEL out of the game, it shows it working perfectly in a window. As soon as I click to go back into game, it goes to a blank screen again. Anybody else had this issue or know how to fix it?

Press ALT+Enter after starting the game up. The game is starting in 4k mode. (no idea why they have that as default) This will put the game to windowed mode which will give you the chance to change the resolution in the settings. I had to do this same thing for the same reason. I actually keep mine windowed though and use a program called "borderless gaming," which is free if you get it from github, or you can buy it from steam if you want to support the creators. Either way it's the same version of the program, actually put out by the developers. In case you can't figure it out, this allows you to play the game in a borderless window instead of having to be full screen. (which I personally prefer in most cases)
