No singleplayer?

Just went to play it. It looks like multiplayer, except I don't know because I can't get past where I select my team.

Hi Angrysquirrel, yes that is correct. As listed on our steam page, EIR is multiplayer-only, meaning you will need to play against other people in the battle tab or bring a friend to play a 1v1 against at least.

We are looking at finding a way of introducing some sort of AI skirmish mode longer term but that will depend on whether we are able to find a COH coder who is able to help us with that.

Hi Shamrock, what timezone are you on? We have a small but active community since steam launch so you should be able to get days in daily, though most of the games take place on Euro evening time/American day. It's worth checking our discord to keep track of when games are happening, you can for example opt in to being pinged when users are looking for players.

Hope you get a chance to try it out!

Man... Im waiting for this desperately. One day i tried to get in the EIR Mod, and face other players. No way. Facing super skilled players destroy my fun. I know... a lot of people love play this game pvp, but not everybody. I play this game since 2009, and my favorite way to play this game is the AI skirmish alone or coop. I enjoyed and im still enjoying the greatest CoH mods - Mordern Combat, Easter Front... Then, EIR was released, and kicked my ass from the heaven, making a ''pvp only'' :(

Yo. In case you haven't heard EIR does now have AI so you can play solo with AI teammates vs other AI and/or even do COOP games with your friends.. I hope to see you around. We are improving and updating the AI constantly to be challenging but at the same time allow new players to choose their skills levels. Defiantly a long term work in progress but its operational now. See you around and hope you bring some friends.

Wtf ... Really? Hell yeaaaaaahhhhhh ! I'm in the middle of job turn, and the first thing I'll do when the turn end is run like a psico to home and try smash some allies! Mann auf dem Boden!

God.... The mod is forcing me to install Net Framework 4.7.2! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! I don't want to change my system just because this! Why? Why force me to install windows 10 to play a game made for Windows xp? Man, im running windows 8 version 6.2 build 9.200 64bits. My laptop is a native windows 8. Runs CoH1 perfectly in high settings while in windows 10... i got 8 fps. I don't want to buy a brand new laptop just because "the world" wants to force me to buy new ♥♥♥♥ if my things is working perfectly. If Steam starts to force me to do things i dont want to do, ill go back to piracy. I'm trying hard to do things the right way, but... no way. Do you know how costs a brand new laptop here on my country? you can buy good used car with the same value. Okay, its not your fault, but its not my fault also. I'm using this laptop because theres NO WAY to buy other "windows 10,11 high end european people machines". Buddy, you did a very good work. Your mod is a state of the art work. But when you try to thing something, remember: Theres not only US, France, Germany, Europe in general in the world map. There are also poor countries. In Africa there are people still using Windows Xp. They don't deserve be happy also? Why not to remember about people that can't afford a modern pc? Unninstalling unfortunately. I can't even open the mod, because "im not running windows 10 to run a game made for windows xp". Great idea! Less players is better!

I hope someday you’ll be able to upgrade your rig. We had to keep up with compatibility of supported platforms since it is an online networked game. Don’t forget COH1 was relaunched with updates to keep it current also.

Really wish you good luck out there and hope you’ll get to enjoy this with an eventual upgraded rig.

Waited so long for single player now it's here and now the stupid question how do i get into it,,have tried everything in the menu but missing something....
