Need help game won't launch
I recently purchased this game but I have been unable to play because when it goes to Launch it's just had a black screen. I've waited 10 minutes or more. I've had the same problem with Voltron VR and have never resolve the problem. I've tried some of the suggestions from Voltron VR forums suggesting switching from Steam VR to steam VR beta with no luck. My friend suggested I switch direct mode and that made no difference. This game and Voltron are the only two in my library I cannot play. My laptop system specs are

i7 7700K
16gb ram
1060 6gb
win 10 pro
Latest NVIDIA drivers
I have a HTC Vive and a Lenovo mixed reality Explorer headset

If anyone has any information or any ideas on what could be causing the problem please respond or if the Developers have any idea please respond. Thanks

Same problem. But before that everything worked well, problemma appeared recently. Simply black screen at startup. But on another computer this game works well.

I get past black screen.. choose skill level.. white screen then no responce .. I have to reboot to get oculus back. Oculus. i7 1070 win7 only game so far that does this and it use to work. first time back in months

I guess we'll never get any help. Devs don't seem to monitor these forums or care. I've tried many things. BTW I tested this on my WMR and Vive same result. Ridiculous... Has anyone tried Voltron? I have the same problem with that game. Only 2 games out of my 250+ VR games that have this problem. Unsat:angrypoop:

It is very strange, but when I go to the STEAM under a different account, the game starts normally

I'm not going to purchase the game on another account to find out. I'll be sure not to buy any games from this developer. Poor support and besides there too many good VR games out there to care anymore. Thanks for the reply

Same for me. It started after a power outage shut the game down abruptly. I have reinstalled and even reformatted my PC since then and it still won't start.

They helped me fix the problem! The problem was saving. You need to delete the save game in the folder EWVR_Date-Saves. Then run the game without internet. Delete you save file and play the game offline for a bit. Just play the game a bit
do 1 round.
connect back to the internet and play again. It should say that the cloud save and local save don't match.
and ask which one you want to use.
select Local.
and it should be good.
