Halloween Quest Bug??

I went through the quest, my town was attacked. The goblin guy told me he'd give me a potion to go and get them back. Then the quest ended.
It took me awhile to find some goblin stronghold with no one home. I still can't find my villagers. Help!

I made it there. I'm on the one where I need to build some houses, the shops and the towers. I did all of them except one last tower. I'm short obsidian and no quest pops up to get more. I may have accidently made 1 house too many. Not sure. It wasn't showing obsidian used in the building for most of it.

The other 2 characters I made are still freezing up when at the beach talking to the orc.

As for the obsidian, you should have gotten 3 quests total to get obsidian for a total of 60. You only need 50 to complete the town. If you send me the save I can add enough for you to finish.

It's odd that it would work for one save and not the others. Would be great to send the saves so I can see what's different!

I have the same problem after talking with Shaydee. He said that he would give me a potion, but I didn't turn into an orc. I closed the game to desktop and restarted and now I am an orc, but there is no one else in the game except me and Shaydee. I walked around the entire island, and there are no orcs on the beach and no ships. The orc fort is empty and so is my town. As I said it's just me and Shaydee.

Ok, something is up with that quest. I'm going to make some changes to it but in the meantime please send me your save and I'll get you back on track.

Theprohet - you are still unable to talk to the orc at the beach?

If you could try again, and if it fails, send me the output_log from that attempt, that would be most helpful. When I load your save I am able to speak with the Orcs, so it has to be something that is failing for other reason.

Question for those of you that are experiencing the issue where Shaydee doesn't turn you into an Orc when you press "I'm Ready" - do you get the fade to white screen or does nothing happen at all?

Working on a build now that should fix any save that is either stuck as an orc but no orcs at the beach or stuck with Dozhagh killed but the cave door still shut. Both should auto-fix once you load your save from build 5.4.

I made some small changes to how NPCs (including Shaydee and the Orcs at the beach) work with the quest button, but since I can't reproduce those bugs I can't say for sure whether they will fix the issue.

But I also put in a bunch of extra logging for the turn into Orc quest and the speaking to Orcs at the beach quest. If either of these fail, sending me an output_log file (before you reload your game!) will be super helpful. I should be able to see exactly where it's failing.

Thanks again everyone and apologies for the bugs. I've played the quest probably 20 times start to finish and I can't get Shaydee to fail to make me an Orc and the Orc at the Beach always transports me to the Orc Island. It's tricky to track down a bug when I can't see it, but I know the bugs are there so I'm spending all of my efforts on fixing them.

I'll update again when build 5.4 is live.

I went 3 times so maybe I did do 1 house too many. I've sent them. Thank you!
When I had troubles with changing to the orc, nothing happened after clicking. I can't remember if I even got the I am ready option.

Got your saves. The one with the Orc camp almost done is fixed and sent back. The others, if you can get them to fail at either the Shaydee quest or the Orc Beach quest and then send me the output_log after getting build 5.4 that would help me tremendously.

I really want to solve both of those. Frustrating that I can't get them to fail myself, so I REALLY appreciate your sticking with me on this as we look for the fix!
