It's important to manage expectations with the knowledge that this is a digital version of an actual board game, and they did not make major changes other than a career progression. A lot of the complaints I've seen about this game are things that ignore what the game is designed to be.
There is quite a bit of strategy to the game. The dev team is adding co-op at some point.
If you watch the twitch stream every week they give away free copies of the game, that's how I got mine.
If this is true, you will like the game. Made straight out of the board game. So far cant play with 5 heroes tho, and I dont really like the crafting part which make you more powerful but also makes the enemies more powerful. But oh well.
Like board game = like this game most likely.
