The black screen issue
I saw your instructions for returning to windowed mode in cases where the black screen appears when using full screen in windows 10. which may allow you to return to windowed mode but does nothing to fix the issue. So what are you doing to fix the issue. I don't want to play in windowed mode.
BTW I'm talking about both games in this series.

EDIT - Windows 8 compat. mode worked for both games but control pad only works on the other (first) game.
