For new players there is a trade restriction until u complete Lucifer castle storyline. A huge drawback but worth doing if Ur filled with passion for this game. So u can't buy, sell, trade in mm til then. Not only that, u can't trade other players or drop items too
First of all, you can't trade at the moment you start the game until you finish Judgement Day Quest.
Second, most of the quest got bugged. If you try to submit a ticket about it, don't even bother as the management doesn't really care, even if you spend lots of money in this game.
Third, experience rate is low, even if you have PanPan combat manuals and dungeon passes.
Fourth, community is dead, they are all AFK, or even quit.
Fifth, some quest you might find hard to finish is something like Marie recruitment quest. Where you actually need to kill a Lloyd in Dr. Torsche Mansion to get a quest item (not a drop item) with 1% chance. That's like winning a lottery.
Six, if you want to get a rare character, go play the expensive Lyndon Box, Leticia Box lottery game. Spending $50/₱2,500 will get you nothing I assure you.
So don't even bother playing this game again. It's worse than IAH Games. IMC Games just got greedy.
Aside from that, I took "time" to farm Vis and earn my +7 Divine/Strata gears to do until Symphonia episode 3. I postponed after that for the meantime.
And the way I see our players, most are employees who are working at daytime.
Expect that they'll be active from 8 P.M. onwards for raids and other stuff.
We're pretty much active until today. Tigres raid, Blood Navy, Royal Road, Clock Tower Basement, Armonia, Montoro, Bounty Hunter, Coimbra Bridge raids...you name all of it.
If you want a super active PvE faction, I'd recommend CoimbraTeaParty.
Otherwise, I don't know. I've never been into a PvP faction.
Odelia is popular when it comes to that.
But I'm not sure that they'll allow anyone to join them.
Because some faction will ask you to show your gears if you're qualified.
2fast is somehow an all-around faction. And they're field boss hunters.
This game offers all that but the drawback is u need to spend alot of money to see results. PvP is the most fun in the game I feel. That's my opinion
I have 3 friends who came into this game fresh not spent a single cent in game. And now fight in cw tdls and wxpvp
Not paying in this game is gimping yourself big time. You can farm for months as a F2P player without getting close to the amount of vis earned by a paying customer.
And spending money now is not worth it since the player base is diminishing, unless you are very rich.
Anyways this actually highlights my point. If f2p is truly self-sustainable, will you be resorted to throwing money to stay competitive / relevant? Even after having such an exclusive and lucrative method of farming, which I dare say OP will not have access to?
I can’t imagine a new player like OP surviving as f2p to be honest, considering things like trade restrictions. Unless his passion for this game is extraordinary.
Just my 2 cents.
Yes I needed to throw cash as well coz 3b in 2months is not sufficient to gear my PvP to compete with athena at that time. I had to rush my characters to get SD sets and +7 eqs. That is how competitive the game is. But once the gearing was settled I went back to relaxing and farming again. Then I stopped spending.
Eventually the game was stagnant after so long and I got bored, I sold off everything and quit. Then 2 years later the server closed.
Definitely possible if a player has focus and commitment. However, younger players nowdays are different. They want things instantly.
