Looking for Character Advice

Hi guys, I just want some advice because I'm not very knowledgeable about the characters in this game.

I'm looking for a character who can:
1. AFK powerlevel in SCR (or other high-level dungeons) effectively (no summoners like Jack or Cath)
2. Can be relied on to power through most of the quest content in the game
3. Tanky enough to not frequently die while AFK, or questing

So far, I know that Vanshee, CSC, and JD are really good in SCR, but I don't really have so much money now. Think around 150m, and most of my stuff are a little bit crap still. But you can list those as your recommended, and I'll still read your reason why. Point is I just want some added direction.

I'm really just looking for ONE character to invest everything I have in. And hopefully, this character would carry the rest of my family through everything else.

JD is your best bet for Ur money worth. In game money of course. He is recruitable which is a plus. With the events going on. Evil GS with UD stats on JD is beast enough. Tbh i dun think CSC is really very good on aa. Vanshee and JD yes. Daisy also good. With 10hr prin hrin and triumph, Ur JD will tear thru vespanolas

Eq wise, get the event evil or strata GS. Buy an ud scroll on mm if u have arSe luck chipping like me. +5 is good enough for a free player or +6 if u can afford it

Vanshee Natalie and JD for sure. I currently invested most of my resources on Vanshee Natalie, no regrets (for now), she tanks decently, high damage AA and great stats (for reaching max ASPD too and her stance seems to cap at 50 CRIT though). Her personal skill is passive, which is a plus for SCR AFK levelling.

Yeah, I'm also looking forward to finally recruiting him! He's still a bit far away tho. So JD, Vanshee, and Daisy. Really expensive toons there but... well, I guess nothing I can do about that. Do you have other recommendations though?

to afk overnight in SRC you better be in squad of 3 - 4 ppl. Take us example, I have Vanshee, Evil rifle Undead stat, team up with other Vanshee or CSC, Daisy, Jaina, Cecille, Leon... Each ppl leveling 2 noobs.

You must have real good melee equipment to go for JD/melee char to carry the team, cos they can't kill as fast, and more often get your noobs killed by dragging them away

The point of squad in SRC is less chance getting knock back, running out of ammo, getting ks.

For Ancient maps, you just equip +6 Cres items and let all 3 noobs lvling themselves

Hm! Good point! Whether or not I have an OP powerleveler, it's indisputable that there is safety in numbers! Thanks for that! I'll be sure to keep it in mind while I decide on this! :)

If active afking i assume u are lvl characters master n below. So all 3 characters attking tgt is not a problem. I trained risky vanshee and Rachel sheffield all space bar tgt. Np at all.

Actively lvling for plvling masters and below i would recommend any aoe characters.

Grace with Flintlock and a decent UD weapon coupled with a squad member works alright for a cheaper alternative for SCR levelling. I'd still take Vanshee Natalie over Grace though. Maybe try to save up to get her card.

For melee in SCR, I don't think there's any that dish out as much as damage as JD. Never used any of the melee characters you mentioned, but I personally used Consul Dietrich as my tank as she is a balance of defense and offense in one for my daily content.

I see, yeah, I'm really aiming for a toon that isn't exactly reliant on AoE coz I'll probably be using this character for AFK vesping.

Do not buy characters just to do scr but since it's vanshee u will probably use her for raiding as well. Good investment. Rmb do not buy 1 char just to do one thing.aximize Ur moneys

I see people are suggesting Vanshee, I'd like to tell you otherwise, I have had many facmates frustrated by vanshee dps, especially when it comes to high level raids.

If anything, I'd go with Daisy, her spacebar isn't spectacular by any mean, but her skills are more than makeup for it.

On the tanky note, most dps chars with lifesteal attribute or wings will be just fine afk-ing (unless you afk in Armonia without Holy Water buff), so I'd say play something that you enjoy, and are pleasing to look at (I wouldnt play Andre even if he becomes the top pvp and pve char)

I'm using Code L at the moment, and since Daisy is out of your budget, I'd say skip Code L too. For her to be effective, a huge investment (2 stance rings ranging 400~600m each) is needed, and she's dual weapon users too to make matter worse.

I assume you mean grandies Great sword stance and not soul bringer, decent char, splash attack, fairly tanky too, but she lacks those new mechanics that other chars have. I'd say only use her for pvp (soul bringer).

I dont use Emp. Judith, cant say anything about her, but I think SFLynn would fit your budget the most. She's decently tanky, have huge aoe skill with the mechanic that double her 3rd skill damage. She hits 3 times/ cycle, but her last hits deal more damage, so effective her spacebar should be as good as JD (if not more).

Also, did I meantion SFL is the cutest among the 4?

I see! Okay, I may just get SFL then. I'm actually now stuck at Lucifer Castle. Only my Master Fighter could get to the end to fight Grandies, but she just doesnt have the firepower to do it. Perhaps SFL might be able to...
