Not sure if this is a bug or what, but I had to unplug my other joysticks and throttle to get my controller to work. When they were plugged in, it wouldn't respond to anything but keyboard inputs. The mouse cursor still doesn't show up, but I'm not even sure if it's supposed to. If it's of any value, I have a Thrustmaster T16000M and throttle along with another Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick plugged in. These space sims... ya know... they're crazy.

I tried both my Xbox One and old Xbox 360 both plugged in via USB and they just wouldn't do anything. Seems to be working fine with all of them unplugged, but I didn't plug any of them back in to see if it worked with fewer plugged in.

A second thing I noticed was when I was looking at the achievements just now, it seems that all or most of the ones that are supposed to track progress don't seem to be doing so. For instance the one for ten total minutes on your side, I've certainly been on my side for at the very least a few minutes but it says zero. The only one that shows any progress is Hang Time.

Awesome thanks. I'm about to push a fix to the achievement stats, and I'll test more controller stuff later. You're on windows I assume @Endyo?
Endyo Aug 2, 2018 @ 8:28am
Yes, Windows 10.

This is the second game I've ever played, that works better on Linux then on Windows. Windows version simply doesn't react to any gamepad event while xboxdrv on my Linux machine with the same pad (Defender Scorpion X7, xinput-compatible) gets the job done.

Today I tried the other Xinput-compatible pad, it didn't work on Windows too. However, we had a whole lotta fun on a Linux machine! Thank you, the game is hilarious!

Strange, I haven't seen issues with controllers. I have xinput disabled (since it limits you to 4 controllers) so maybe it's not direct-input compatible. That's pretty rare though. What's the name of the controller?

I don't know the name, but it can be used in both xinput and direct-input modes. Also, I just tried the other direct-input compatible gamepad but didn't succeed. Maybe the bug lies in my system, I'll check it out.

One of the "humans" wheels got stuck in the ground, happens at the video time stamp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eqm416pj7_A&feature=youtu.be&t=3736

I've run into the same issue regarding xinput on windows: I've got a bunch of xbone controllers connnected wirelessly and the don't seem to react to the game. keyboard only.

Update, my controller problem was my own fault. I had vJoy installed for Gamecube Controllers and the virtual controller hogged the spot in the game. Working fine now :)

So just like in Endyo's case, the first controllers "on the list" have always priority on win10 and you have to unplug or uninstall them to make the game react to other ones. I've seen other games solve this by prioritizing the first controllers that actually produce input, but I'm no game dev myself, no idea how much effort this is to implement.

Thanks, that's helpful. Although I'd thought it'd work fine unless you have 10 things plugged in at least. I can try switching over to a different input system if many others are having issues

Hey, I can't get past the title screen, any ideas?
The logo and ''Human'' just fall infront of the screen and that's it, I can't press anything.

What controller are you using? Does keyboard input like "Enter" and the arrow keys work?
