Book of the Dead location?

I got all books/perks for the trophy but never found the book of the daed, anyone know where it was? Did everything, killed Gargoyle, killed all bosses. Also I never found all save locations, only found 5, 1 in Bellville with the rest in the woods (4). Great game though.

It got moved to a new location. I'm going to go looking for it and hopfully find it. Unless you already found it.

@CrashSlayer, yes I found it, look for a huge pit ontop of a hill with black smoke in it. Looks like a "Pit of Death". Jump in it and it'll transport you to a different location on the map (small cave) with a chest. I opened up the chest and got the book but it didn't trigger my trophy "Book of the Dead". Possible glitch in the game.

That one got moved to a different location. It's no longer in the spot where you go from the black pit. I haven't found it myself yet, but I didn't have time to look for the new location.

That's the last achievement i try to do, but i didn't find it yet XD.

Careful guys as I started a new playthrough due to the fact that "The Book of the Dead" trophy never came up even though I found the chest after you jump in the black smoke pit. I quickly ran to the black smoke pit again & jumped in warping me to the cave with the chest. Opened it and only got a skill book. Not sure what's up with that. The achievment might be bugged atm. Also there might be a bug with finding all save stones achievment. I found all the save points in my 1st playthrough but doubled guessed myself that I didn't actually save at each one. In my 2nd playthrough I went to each 1 (5 in the forest, 1 in town) & saved, achievment never came up.

I may know why now -

The map guide is listed for versions .75-.78

The game is now in .84 and recently one of the updates had "Level Design Improvements" so the map likely was changed and the guide is no longer reliable.
