I've also extended the experimental Steamdeck support.


I've tried to maintain the YouTube player asset (yes, it's a bought asset) for years now and it just keeps breaking, so I sadly had to finally remove it and with it the achievement too.
This was the amazing progress-bar-history documentation. I asked them back in the day if I can include it directly in the game (which would always work) or license it, but they sadly declined. So here is the YouTube video about the history of progress bars.

Hello fellow progressing people,

for the spoopy season we bring you the most scary stuff we gamedevs had experienced ever: THE UNITY RUNTIME FEE BANKRUPT UPDATE!

UPDATE: This Update was delayed, because we couldn't make a new sale, because our game was "too cheap", because we never updated our prices and they went below thresholds on all of our games.

Unity wanted to introduce a completely insane runtime fee for every installation of a game ever made with Unity, which would had bankrupt many studios.
To honor this very "interesting" decision, we added a new achievement: BANKRUPT.
Install our game 5 times and you would had cost us more money that we would had made on a sale *

* WAY before that, because of all the fees, but we are going for gross revenue here ^^"

A lot of people put videos together about what happened, here is a playlist with Callum Upton and Lost Relic Games who summed it up pretty well.

We also added a rudimentary Steam Deck support for the main menu (dev console is still a work in progress), better firehorse error message and the reviews of Miky11 review and blueskies9968.
Also added "date" command to the terminal to show what the date is that the PBS receives from the operating system (which for some people seems to be not what they expect under certain circumstances ^^")

Hello progressing people,
Today is patchday, so ready your bars to progress right into it!

A player had some concerns about the CPU-load of our game, so I looked into it.
While I could answer some questions, I found a bug I fixed in another project but never patched it back into the Progress Bar Simulator (which I thought I had done a long time ago).
So thanks AROAH for the findings :ghsmile: !

Also I finally added a feature requested by Heyesy, that you, the player being able to put a user defined text in and show it within some Progress Bars.
It is still a bit limited, so I might do something more with it in the future.

Hello all the progressing people out there,

the year progresses to it's end, but that doesn't mean we stopped progressing and bringing you another FREE UPDATE!
We partnered with the awesome folks from Draw Me A Pixel to bring you one of the amazing THERE IS NO GAME - WRONG DIMENSION progress bars to progress!

We also bring you, as always, a few bug fixes and improvements. Mainly there is finally the file-copy dialog animation you all waited for SO LONG.
We tried to partner with TED talks to include their awesome history of Progress Bar video. Sadly we couldn't do that, so the video is directly played from YouTube, bringing you amazing insights to the history of the Progress Bar and of course we had to make a new achievement for it,
This, OF COURSE, spawned a(nother) totally unnecessary feature ːsteamhappyː.
Also more players registered their product and are now listed in the PLAYERS.TXT, where you can be listed too when you fill out the REGISTER.TXT form and send it to us.

Hello all the progressing people,

this time we have a small Halloween update for you.

The Screen Saver will now start within 15 seconds instead of 60, so you can get the Halloween exclusive Halloween Screen Saver achievement a "bit" faster.
And of course there are some little tweaks and improvements in this update, as always.
