Mac Save Game Files Location?
I copied my save files over from my Windows PC to my Mac. Where are the save files located for Beyond Earth on Macs? Civ 5 was located in documents. But I see nothing for BE. Any help?

Thats a different folder. The folder where the be saves are is not visible by default. You can just use steam to get to the app and then go 4 folders up and you will finde the be folder

What do you mean 4 folders up? When I view local files and view the contents of the Civ BE app I can't find any save folders under the folders that come up. This is so strange not to be able to find where Civ is storing the save directory!

if you press caommand and "arrow up" you will go one folder lvl up that mean the first time you will be in the common folder where you will find folders for every steam game you have installed. But they only contain the the app. If you go one folder level up again (command + "arrow up") you will be in the Steamapps folder. If you press now command+"arrow up" for the third time you will be in the steam folder. If you press the combo for a last time you will be in the "Application Support" folder where you can find a be folder. If you open it it just looks like the civ 5 folder you can find in the documents, so the saves will be in the folder saves

I had to use terminal command to reval hidden files to find the file location.

It was in the same location as Keyray:
Users/"Username"/Library/Application Support/Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth

The easiest way to get to your Home folders's Library is using the Finder's Go menu. Just hold down the option key when selecting the Go menu and there is the Library folder!

Bonus tip: Drag the Saves folder to the Favorites area of the sidebar and you'll have easy access in the future.
