So many bad reviews

I really love the CIV franchise but with half of the reviews nagative and other 4x titles with better graphics and gameplay than civ5 whats the selling point of beyond earth? I really want it but the community is telling everyone not to pay extra for what is essentialy a civ5 DLC....

Let's be honest here: you got it from a company that buys cheap regional keys from Uzbekistan (or where-ever) and resells them.

That's not a "sale", it's a grey market - one I have nothing against if you wouldn't have bought it otherwise. (Better than the old YAAAR 100% discount, at any rate).

As a "non-Liberal" you should be proud of your "market solution" to not wanting to pay full price, and not sugarcoat it. And thank Uzbekistan for having a currency that's significantly weaker than the dollar*...

This, but I live in Canada. It doesn't matter where I buy it from, I still buy it from a foreign country. I know what Liberals are, there is a Liberal party in Canada.

My point was that all the teams seem like Liberal nations. Democracy, open trade, social benefits, etc.

There's no fascist dictatorship, no communist super power, no nation that tries to take over and destroy economies, no religious fanitical theorcracy.

b) GMG sells Civ:BE for £29.99 which is $47.92 (this includes their 25% off coupon)

There are some nations in there that are clearly not democratic. In fact, some of the information in the game suggests that some are very much totalitarian.
