Let's be honest here: you got it from a company that buys cheap regional keys from Uzbekistan (or where-ever) and resells them.
That's not a "sale", it's a grey market - one I have nothing against if you wouldn't have bought it otherwise. (Better than the old YAAAR 100% discount, at any rate).
As a "non-Liberal" you should be proud of your "market solution" to not wanting to pay full price, and not sugarcoat it. And thank Uzbekistan for having a currency that's significantly weaker than the dollar*...
*The irony that your good fortune is predicated on an ex-Soviet state should be readily apparent, but if you're too dense to spot it, I've now highlighted it for you.
wtf are you talking about? Stop trying to be a sm*rt ass because of your political views.
Please link a US site that has Civ:BE on "sale" for $30.
I'll then prove that they're buying non-US regional keys that allow that discount.
You can back out now, this is a loosing battle, trust me.
Amazon: known to be extremely cut-throat & price conscious: $49.98

Hint: I do know what I'm talking about.
I don't get your point though?
What difference does it make?
Why are you bringing up a none-issue?
I don't even live in America. I don't actually care how the Steam keys are discounted? Or what that has to do with my post?
Sigh.
Hint: Americans use the term "Liberals" in a completely different way to the rest of the world.
You used it in the American sense.
"Sale".
/squish
Do you disagree with me that the Nations in BE are very liberal?
Green Man Gaming. Between stacking their normal 25% off and a 10% coupon I had from them, I got this for about $30.
In short, you don't have a clue what you're talking about.
They are in no way Liberal in the non-American sense.
ARC = hyper Capitalists.
Pan Asia = Capitalists.
Polystralia = Capitalists.
The only critique of the factions at the moment is that they're almost all Capitalists, with some regional flavoring. Barring the Indians, who get to be somewhat spiritual Capitalists.
Capice?
The review scores would beg to differ SIGNIFICANTLY.
This, but I live in Canada. It doesn't matter where I buy it from, I still buy it from a foreign country. I know what Liberals are, there is a Liberal party in Canada.
But I never said I was conservative. So I don't even get your point. (@Boink)
My point was that all the teams seem like Liberal nations. Democracy, open trade, social benefits, etc.
There's no fascist dictatorship, no communist super power, no nation that tries to take over and destroy economies, no religious fanitical theorcracy.
You completley misread my post and got on a high train trying to make yourself look good, for whatever reason.
That's the most bizarre behaviour, you should read the post before trying to debate how superior your politics are...
Liberals are not anti-capitalism. 3/8 civs have some captialist tendency, the rest are very similar.
a) GMG is a UK company
b) GMG sells Civ:BE for £29.99 which is $47.92 (this includes their 25% off coupon)
So:
a) If you're from the USA, buying from GMG is indeed buying from a different region
b) 10% off $47.92 =/= $30
Ooops.
Looks like I'm not the one without a clue.
GMG sells in USD, it was on sale for $37.99 prior to release. 25% off, plus I had a small discount.
