That is true. If you look at the "Warsword", it is based off warhammer fantasy. they originally went with "warhammer fantasy"; But GW complained. So they just renamed the mod. GW surprisingly did not make copyrights for the names of the armies. Ex. Necrons, Tyranids, anything that does not have a common name. Space marines cant be copywritten, because the name "space marine" has been around longer than GW.

Combat in Gladius is pretty good too. It certainly emphasises the combat and exploration over the building and diplomacy. Which imo suits a 40k themed 4X.

I sold all of my warhammer stuff lmao. I painted a majority of it, but I lost interest and bought into Bolt Action, Battletech, and X-wing.

I always like the idea of getting some Battletech, they've been improving the quality of their models recently haven't they? I guess the other deal breaker is also that my terrain is all in the wrong scale for it right now.

Oh yea. Catalyst has been revamping a bunch of older designs. A lot of them look really good, but I'd highly recommend getting back into it haha.
