Millitary action against stations
Around turn 100 i took down a station cause it was blocking a location for my future expansion, and kavitha didnt really like that and asked me to stop attacking stations.... about every 20 turns on repeat. i only took out 1 station but she keeps asking me to stop, even 200 turns later.

Is this the result of a bug? or am i doing something wrong

I've had the same thing, got to be a bug. Guess some flag isnt clearing properly?
Was it a small map? If the AI does not have any other trade paths available, they keep trying to use the path to the station you blow up, which fails as its not there, so they then hassle you and will keep hassling you until they find somewhere else to trade. If they can never find one, you will get hassled forever....

just other bug in the list
was a duel map but there were still 2 other stations left at the time. oh well finished that game so thats one way to end it!
had the same thing happening in a game recently, so, yeah, bug, I guess.
You can also stop the AI from spamming by kindly declaring war upon them and razing all their cities for them.
A silly question: how to destroy a station? I've got that 'hostile takeover' quest again, and this time I'd like to fulfill it (the station in question plunked itslef down on a piece of prime real estate). When i bring my military unit within range, it won't let me target the station. Do you have to declare war against a station in order to attack it? if so, how? Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I just figured it out. (The answer is yes; I R-clicked the station, and got an option to declare war on the station. All's well.)
I get that bug too.

Just kill her too, she's annoying.

As far as I can tell, you cannot declare war on stations with siege or ranged units; that is to say, you need to sacrifice a marine (melee attack to declare war, which the marine is unlikely to surive) then use artillery to take out the city's defences, and then send in another marine to capture it.
Thanks, Alex! what I was able to do a little while ago was this: with my rocket launcher selected, i right-clicked on the station, said 'yes' to the option to declare war, and started firing away. But I wasn't able to actually 'capture' the tile until I brought in my marine.
