Help: No Menu?

Hey all,

Wasn't sure if this should go into either:
pinned: game crashing
or
pinned: failure to start


I can open the application go past the logo screens and the intro
then there is just a static screen with no writing options or menu or nothing ...and the soundtrack looped in the background.

I unistalled/reinstalled.... you know that didnt help :p

anyone got any ideas what I'm not doing?
help is much appreciated!

How long did you wait? That's the loading screen, and the game takes a while to load.

At the time I thought I'd waited long enough...then I read your comment...how long had I waited really?
I went back...and sat...with no signal anything was loading... 3mins later I was in.

I blame the world of instant gratification that we live - 3mins ...jeebus we didnt even have to wait that long for video tapes to rewind!

Well, it takes about 30-40 seconds for me. Depends on your Hardware.

And it's slower if it hasn't successfully loaded the first time, or first time since an update, or since you last cleared the game's cache folder. Because it's building some of that cache folder.

Fair.

I havent played it at all yet ...so cashe folder shouldn't be a factor.
Hardware wise I've got Intel(R) Core (TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40 GHz

Either way I'm just happy it is working, base on minimum requirements, should run fine in game
