Meteor Crash Site, Quest: Deus Ex Chemia
Supposed to be able to mine these rather cool looking craters, I can't, noticed that some posts regarded this as well. Is there something i've missed cas the civilopedia doesn't say anything bout them being mineable.

IF this is an issue like I think it is, is it somewhere in the 'List of stuff that is broken/Dont work on rising tide.' thread? I couldn't be bothered search through all 23 pages for the word 'meteor'.

As with other alien marvels, there is a main super site which cannot be worked. It just gives the quest. Someone has to find it to activate the quest, is all. Then the lesser sites can be worked. The meteor sites will require explorers.

Oh so I need to 'be on' the big meteor crash site with an explorer first? And then go to the little ones?

No, as said:

- The big marvels (3 tiles) are not workable. You cant even move on their tiles. They are used to start the marvel quest for everyone once they are discovered by someone.

- The minor parts (1 tile) are used for completing the quest. You can move any unit on them and get a special (golden colored) option for using them.
Keep in mind that every minor one can only be used once. The icon of them contains a little black or white rhombus in the middle. If it is white, someone has already used it.

That's incorrect, Minor Marvels are not shared, the same Marvel can and (since you now need to find all of them to complete the quest) have to be used by multiple players.

Ok, so they changed that in one of the recent patches. That explains why it wants me to find 6 craters now.

No, it always worked like that. That misinterpretation flew around from the very beginning, but it was never correct.

It's Marvels that have been placed on the map - 1 (because you had to find 1 in the previous step). You have to find all of them, which will be more the bigger the map is (and probably a few less each of the map has 2 marvels).
