Unable to play a game of Rising Tide.

So I've recently bought Rising Tide, and reinstalled my copy of Civ Beyond Earth.

Unlike other discussions concerning being unable to play the game, my copy of BE:RT ran fine until I had set up a singleplyer match and got to the loading screen that comes after that.

There, I waited an entire hour for the match to start up.... except it didn't.... it never started up. It just stared at me for an entire hour. No fancy button to start the match, no error reports, no nothing but a loading screen and some backstory staring at me.

I've verified the game and I've uninstalled and reinstalled it. But the game still doesn't work for me.

Does anyone here have some helpful advice for me?

I've found sometimes alt-tabbing out and in again gives the game a kick.

Delete Cache Folder in:
Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth

If you ever used custom DLC delete it from:
Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\assets\DLC

Your post doesn't mention mods, so I don't assume you're using any, but in case you are, outdated mods can cause that problem, too.

I was playing singleplayer without Mods, and it wasn't working, so I tried a modded game, and it still wasn't working as well.

Anyways, I'll try out what you've told me and see if it works.
